JCB Mens Gilet Grey Black, Padded Body Warmer 160g Water Repellent

160G WADDING, CLO 2.5 THERMAL RATING: The fill is 160g of soft wadding and the gilet carries a CLO rating of 2.5. CLO is the standard unit for measuring how much insulation a garment provides, so a stated figure lets you compare this against anything else you own rather than guessing. Warmth across the core, which is where it counts on a cold start.

UNISEX CUT, SIZED XS TO 5XL: One unisex cut sized right across the range from XS through to 5XL, so the same gilet works for everybody on a job and one order covers a whole crew. There is no separate mens and ladies fit to keep track of when you reorder, and no gaps at either end of the run, which is where most workwear sizing falls short.

GREY AND BLACK: A two tone colourway combining grey and black panels. A two tone surface breaks up marks so soiling reads less obviously than it does on a single flat colour. Sized XS to 5XL. The alternative colourway in this line is navy and black.

SLEEVELESS FOR FREE ARM MOVEMENT: With no sleeves there is nothing to bunch at the elbow or catch on a doorway, and full arm movement stays free for lifting and reaching. It layers over a JCB polo shirt, t-shirt or fleece, and sits under a JCB waterproof jacket without adding bulk at the shoulder or the upper arm.

JCB ENGINEERED WORKWEAR: JCB workwear combines advanced fabrics, durable construction and ergonomic design to deliver comfort, protection and performance across every trade. New JCB logo branding, with a silicone JCB tab at the hem. The range keeps evolving to reflect the changing world of work.

WATER REPELLENT FINISH AND WASHING: The water repellent finish holds light rain and spills on the surface rather than letting them soak through to the wadding, because wet fill stops insulating. It is a repellent treatment and not a waterproof membrane, so pair it with a waterproof jacket for prolonged rain. Machine wash at 40 degrees.

ALSO AVAILABLE IN NAVY AND BLACK: The same gilet is produced in navy and black. Shell fabric, shell weight, wadding weight, thermal rating, lining and size run are all identical, so colour is the only difference between the two.

WEARS WITH THE JCB WORKWEAR RANGE: Sits over a JCB polo shirt, embossed t-shirt or hoody, and under a JCB waterproof jacket when the weather turns. Wear with JCB holster pocket trousers and JCB safety footwear to kit out head to toe from one brand rather than piecing it together from several.
