Safety First Aid Group Safety First Aid Evolution LifeVac, Burns & Catering First Aid Kit Point

The Evolution LifeVac, Burns and Catering First Aid Point is a comprehensive solution designed specifically for catering and food-handling environments where blue safety items are required. It provides a centralised and easily accessible point for emergency equipment, supporting compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards. The unit is equipped to support rapid response to a range of potential incidents, including burns and choking emergencies, alongside general first aid needs. By combining specialised catering-safe components with a dedicated anti-choking device, it helps ensure effective and appropriate emergency treatment in high-risk food preparation areas. Key Features Includes both a LifeVac anti-choking device and a HSE Compliant first aid kit – provides solutions to support in the event of workplace injuries or choking incidents. Proven life-saving equipment – LifeVac has helped save more than 5,000 lives from choking incidents. Interlocking, quick release brackets – wall-mountable, interlocking brackets not only allow your kits to be immediately visible and easily accessible but also allow customisation and reconfiguration of the first aid point to suit the space available should you add additional kits. Photoluminescent headers and bracket labels – improve visibility and readiness by ensuring first aid points remain easy to locate in low-light conditions and by helping staff quickly identify and replace any missing kits. Created using Evolution cases – the Evolution cases that are used to house all three of these first aid kits are durable and lightweight, making them long-lasting and easy to transport in emergency situations. Ensures workplaces are legally compliant – the catering first aid kit is compliant with British Standard 8599-1, ensuring that the workplace has the most comprehensive cover possible, and the additional kits ensure that other hazards identified by your customer’s risk assessment are covered as well. Includes an MHRA certified life-saving device – LifeVac is certified by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency in the UK and has currently saved over 5,000 lives. Enables swift intervention during critical incidents – the LifeVac allows rapid action in choking emergencies, while the first aid kit provides essential supplies for cuts, burns, sprains, and other common injuries, helping to minimise complications. Promotes employee confidence and peace of mind – knowing that burns, catering first aid and life-saving choking devices are readily available helps staff feel secure, empowered, and prepared to act in an emergency. Cost-effective risk management solution – this combination offers an affordable way to protect employees, visitors, and customers, while reducing potential legal claims and reputational damage. Suitable for all UK workplaces – ideal for schools, restaurants, care homes and industrial sites where food is served providing versatile safety coverage. Why Every Catering Environment Should Have a LifeVac Device In catering and hospitality settings, the risk of choking is always present. Whether it’s a customer enjoying a meal, a chef tasting food, or someone grabbing a quick bite during a busy shift, choking can occur suddenly and without warning. Choking remains one of the leading causes of accidental death in the UK, particularly among young children and adults over 65. Brain damage can begin within six minutes of oxygen deprivation, and death can occur in less than ten. With ambulance response times aiming for around eight minutes, every second truly counts. Equipping a kitchen, restaurant, or café with a LifeVac device, alongside a compliant first aid kit, provides vital protection for both staff and guests. Having a LifeVac readily available ensures the team can respond quickly and effectively to a choking emergency, helping to maintain a safe environment for everyone on the premises.
