Box set with four albums featuring drummer Neudi (Manilla Road, Trance, Griffin, Savage Grace, among others) -Limited edition with autographed card At the age of 8, Andreas Neuderth, who has been known only by his nickname NEUDI since the mid-1980s, discovered his talent for the drums. Even earlier than that, he became a fan of hard rock sounds, the usual suspects such as Kiss, Status Quo and Rush. At the age of 15, in 1986, his drumming appeared for the first time on a tape by the band SUDDEN DARKNESS, which makes 2026 an anniversary year for the musician, who now lives in Rheinhessen.In addition to MANILLA ROAD (2011 until Mark Shelton‘s death in 2018) and SAVAGE GRACE (2009/2010), his best-known bands are currently TRANCE, ROXXCALIBUR, ANGEL OF DAMNATION, IRONSWORD, JAMESON RAID and Manilla Road‘s successor band SENTRY. Despite all these names, Neudi describes the 1994 ECONOMIST album ‘New Built Ghetto Status’ as ‘one of the three best albums I‘ve ever been on’. In fact, it‘s safe to say that ECONOMIST‘s style is probably one of a kind. In 1995, the CD was licensed by Massacre/Intercord, but its progressive style was simply too far ahead of its time. As a reissue, released for the first time as a double LP with the previously unreleased second album ‘Mind Movies’, it finally received the euphoric reviews it deserved. After a period of experimentation, VIRON (2004/2006 and 2008) marked Neudi‘s return to traditional metal, which he had never abandoned as a fan. The two highly acclaimed albums were indirectly the predecessors of the more successful band ROXXCALIBUR. SCROLLKEEPER is a band from Texas who wanted to collaborate with Neudi as Manilla Road fans for their EP ‘Wetico’. Neudi is known for his ‘busy drumming’. Influenced by Neil Peart (Rush), Randy Foxe (Manilla Road) and Ian Paice (Deep Purple), he not only provides the genre‘s usual rhythm work ‘in the background’, but also brings the instrument to the fore in a striking way.
