In Sanctuary you plan and design a modern, scientifically managed animal park for both animals and visitors. With a stock of 135 unique animal tiles, you can deploy animals, buildings and projects. In each game you try to find the best combination of available tiles to build the most successful zoological park. Different effects on the tiles help you achieve conservation goals and increase the appeal of your park. Each player has a set of four action cards to manage their game, where the power of an action is determined by the position of the card. One of these maps allows you to carry out projects, while the other three maps allow you to place animals of a specific habitat: forest, rock or water. Based on its predecessor Ark Nova, Sanctuary simplifies and adapts many of the mechanisms in an elegant and surprising way.
