Product Description Tamiya presents the Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 EVO II 1991 on the popular TT-02 chassis. This car participated in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) in 1991. Based on the compact Mercedes-Benz 190 E, it received improved aerodynamics with components such as mudguards, front and rear spoilers as well as a large rear wing. The engine is a 2.5 litre inline four-cylinder DOHC engine with 340 HP. In the same year, the factory car, sponsored by the German beer brand König Pilsener, secured second place in the championship and won the manufacturer's championship to Mercedes-Benz. The 58750 TAMIYA model in 1:10 scale is the proven TT-02 chassis. With this wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be adjusted many times and with the countless optional tuning parts, the chassis can be quickly tuned to a racer. The 4WD drive with central shaft, double wishbone and suspension struts on all four wheels ensure a true driving pattern and best traction. The chassis base is extra smooth and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. Visual highlight are the wheel carriers, which have attached dummy brake discs.
