Back home in Pittsburgh, Ava Grace and her camera were there to document this meteoric rise from bedroom queen to Drag Race fan favorite. Lydia B Kollins is an international drag superstar who was featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 17 and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 in 2025. Lydia had been doing drag since 2016, relying on the materials around her to create and build up the remarkable, world renowned, slightly concerning, hash slinging diva that is known today. Her main objective in pursuing drag is to generate joy and spark creativity in the hearts of the queer community (specifically her lesbians). She believes that drag is about the love you spread and the art you create, and she will never stop urging for left of center drag to be celebrated. Ava Grace is the self-taught photographer behind Ava Grace Studios. She has been in community with Pittsburgh’s drag scene since 2012, and is passionate about documenting its history. She is also a full-time LGBTQ+ healthcare worker, determined to help marginalized communities access healthcare and resources to live long, healthy lives. When she’s not at her computer or behind her camera, she is a devoted cat mother, vintage clothing shopper, and vinyl record spinner.
