It features the shocking debut album, Welcome to the Pleasuredome, by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, the Liverpool band that signed to Trevor Horn's ZTT label following a sensational pre-record debut buzz in 1980. The double album was an instant commercial sensation, securing over a million advance orders in the UK to hit the top of the charts and achieving explosive sales with Top 10 rankings across many countries. The album includes the iconic debut single "Relax," which hit UK No. 1 despite a BBC broadcast ban, as well as the No. 1 hit "Two Tribes" and "The Power of Love." This 2025 2CD deluxe edition features the original album on Disc 1, and Disc 2 compiles highlights from the 7CD + Blu-ray super deluxe edition, including demos, radio sessions, 12-inch versions, alternate mixes, and a soundcheck cover of "Born to Run." This set is presented in SHM-CD specification and includes liner notes, English liner translation, lyrics, and Japanese translation.
