Steelcase Ergonomic office chair: Series 1, lumbar support, Dark Green

Among the most popular of our office chairs, Steelcase Series 1 delivers on what’s most important to you. Best-in-class ergonomics, comfort and Steelcase quality, together in a sustainable office chair with a range of finish choices. The Steelcase Series 1 office chair has an integrated LiveBack™ technology with interdependent flexors, which move responsively to support your back throughout the day. Position the lumbar support for the lower back and turn the comfort dial to adjust the back recline tension, covering a range of postures for healthy, active sitting. The weight-activated tile mechanism allows for automatic and intuitive adjustments. The seat and back work in harmony with each other – responding automatically as you sit and move. An additional “boost” tension setting increases the resistance you feel as you recline, and an upright backstop locks you in an upright position. Soft curved armrests maintain comfortable forearm support whether sitting upright or in recline. The arms adjust in four directions and offer personalised height, width, pivot and depth settings. The seat features strong yet pliable foam which conforms to the body and creates pressure-free comfort. Seat depth adjusts to suit your position and the flexible seat edge offers a bit of bend, right where you need it – relieving pressure points under your thighs.
