Product Description Mount Gay Silver is made using a blend of pot and column still rums, differentiating from most white rums which use column stills only. The pot still part of the blend is aged for 2 years in ex-American Whiskey casks. The liquid is clear due to the double charcoal filtration, which removes the colour and adds to the smooth, elegant flavour, characteristic of Mount Gay Silver. This gives a complexity to the liquid and rich tropical fruit notes, which make it fantastic in long and classic cocktails such as the Mojito. A smooth and refined rum, Mount Gay Silver delivers citrus, floral, grapefruit and butterscotch aromas, alongside flavors of ripe fruit, toffee, cane and butterscotch.
