This second edition refines and streamlines the gameplay of the first, offering: Intuitive D100 Skill System: The core mechanic is simple: roll equal to or less than your Skill to succeed. Difficulty is easily adjusted by modifiers. Meaningful Character Progression: Grow in power through the acquisition of powerful loot and the improvement of your Skills. Rolling doubles on a Skill check allows you to mark it for potential improvement, and with hundreds of different items to loot, you will be progressing every single session! Deep Crafting System: Don't rely solely on drops! Gather resources and utilize various kits (Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Cooking, etc.) to create the gear and consumables you need to survive. A World Waiting to be Explored: From the desperate pleas of Kar Helos to the dangers lurking within Rifts and the mysteries of the surrounding regions, Kaethor offers you many ways to experience all sorts of adventures. The quest system (fully procedural) ensures that you want to go out and explore, for you will be rewarded handsomely!
