Description

Product Description For the SBB Railway 2000 project, BBC and SLM produced four prototypes of a four-axle electric locomotive made in light steel construction. The locomotives referred to as Re 4/4 IV at SBB were intensively tested at SBB from 1982. With the 160 km/h fast locomotives, not only the new rectifier technology was tested but also new colour schemes - so all four machines received different coatings. Only from 1986 the Re 4/4 IV got a uniform colour scheme in traffic red with the railway 2000 advertising. From 1994, the Southeast Railway (SOB) took over the locomotives run as Re 446 and made them rolling billboards. With the introduction of Stadler Flirt at SOB in 2019, all Re 4/4 IV were sold to the EDG. Model features: - Power consumption via all axes - Swiss light change -Prepared or including sound (Zimo sound board) -Interface NEM 651 -Consideration of all design differences Safety Warning Model toys, not suitable for children under 14 years of age
