Product Description The E10 belongs to the family of unified locomotives and was built for the German Federal Railway from 1952. The four-axle machines were first used in high-quality travel traffic before fast and D trains. For the locomotives of the Rheingold, a new streamlined locomotive box was designed in 1962, which was also used in series machines from E10 288. The kink on the front gave the locomotive its nickname "ironing crease". The locomotives were now run as E10.3 at the Deutsche Bundesbahn. From the 1990s, the range of applications of the locomotives referred to as the 110 series from 1968 shifted towards local transport. Many machines have therefore been equipped with reversible train controls.
