The ES64F4 E-Locomotive is a locomotive platform from Siemens and belongs to the EuroSprinter family. In Germany, it is mainly used as a model series 189 at the Deutsche Bahn but also private railways and vehicle rental companies rely on the four-axle electric locomotive. Some DB Cargo machines received automatic couplings (visible on the yellow corners on the side of the buffer plank) for use before the ore trains between Germany and the Netherlands.
