Description

The Stranger by Albert Camus tells the story of Meursault, which is an emotionally separate French Algerian that leads to an indifferent life. After his mother's death, he continues with a little external grief with his routine, portraying the decisions of the people around him. His life takes a dramatic turn when he kills an Arab man in a insensitive work of violence, which leads to his arrest and testing. The novel examines subjects of existence such as non -equality of life, indifference of the universe, and human conflict with mortality, because Meursault comes to accept the futility of existence, claiming its freedom in front of social decisions.
