Chile, a vine grower's paradise

The fruit for this Merlot is grown on our estate in the beautiful Casablanca Valley, where it ripens slowly, thanks to the gentle cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean

When it is ripe, we carefully pick and vinify the grapes, and then age the wine for 8 months in oak barrels, resulting in this velvety, elegant, and intense Merlot

Our estate occupies the eastern end of the valley and is noted for its gentle Pacific breezes and early morning fog, making it the climate for producing cool climate red varietals such as Pinot Noir and Merlot
