La Dolce Vita is an Italian expression used to describe a life full of sweet moments, events, beauty, and pleasures. At Castello Del Poggio we seek to enjoy the sweeter things in life Castello del Poggio harvests select grapes grown from the rich territory within its prime highaltitude vineyards. The Estate is situated in the Asti region in the NorthWest of Italy and dates back to at least 1699. Castello del Poggio Asti Spumante DOCG Sweet Sparkling Wine from Asti, Italy Vinification: The Moscato d’Asti grape juice comes from some of the best vineyards in the heart of the DOCG region. It is selected and graded with only the highest quality destined to become Asti. It is stored in stainless steel pressure vessels where the fermentation takes place. The total grape sugar content in the juice will be partly transformed into alcohol and the balance remaining unfermented (approx. 90 g./L.) will impart to the finished product its natural sweetness. Colour: Strawyellow with bright gold reflections accompanied by a full and lively foam and a perlage of great finesse. Bouquet: The typical aromatic tones of the Moscato grapes are fully manifested in the wine’s aroma, which is intense and extraordinarily appealing. Flavour: Sweet and not cloying, unusually fresh, richly fruity, superbly balanced and satisfyingly persistent. Alcohol By Volume: 7.0%

ASTI SPUMANTE: Made from 100% Moscato Bianco d'Asti grapes, this is a light-bodied and sweet sparkling wine characterised by a straw yellow colour with bright gold reflections boasting a full and lively foam. Best served chilled at 6°C

INTENSE & ALLURING: The typical aromatic tones of Moscato grapes have fully manifested in this wine's aroma, which has been complemented by a fresh and sweet flavour composed of rich, fruity notes of peach, rose, and grape that are satisfyingly persistent

REFINED SELECTION, NATURAL SWEETNESS: Grapes are selected and graded with only the highest quality juices going on to become Asti after fermentation, where not all sugars are transformed into alcohol imbuing the finished product with a natural sweetness

PAIRING NOTES: A popular accompaniment for desserts, the Asti Spumante matches with pastries from cakes and pies to sweet biscuits and cookies. Makes for an excellent beverage to be shared at social gatherings or enjoyed during other relaxing moments
