Description

2 x 12 inch Coloured Vinyl / 180 gm Audiophile Vinyl / High Quality, Coloured Vinyl, Limited Edition / As Grammy nominee, remixer for Madonna, Moby, and the Chemical Brothers, and winner of various prestigious awards and hearts on dancefloors across the globe, Welsh DJ Sasha hardly needs an introduction. In 1999 he released the double 12" EP Xpander containing four epic progressive trance tunes each clocking in at over 10 minutes. Each track progresses slowly and takes you for a ride across numerous tense build-ups and intense releases without ever letting up. No wonder that the EP won the award for "Best Techno/Trance 12"" at the 1999 International Dance Music Awards; no mean feat considering the staggering amount of influential trance records that came out around that time. Fun fact for the gearheads: the title of the EP is an homage to the Oberheim Xpander, a now very hard to find, legendary synth from the late 80s that defined much of that era's sound. Xpander EP is available as a limited edition of individually numbered copies on crystal clear vinyl and includes printed inner sleeves / Tracklist: Disc 1: 1. Xpander 2. Belfunk Disc 2: 1. Rabbitweed 2. Baja
