This Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 1 and HDMI 4K60 HDBaseT extender extends the distance between two host computers and a console with two HDMI displays and USB peripherals by up to 100 meters. Supports multiple USB signals, control, mass transfer, interruption and isochron of data. A Cat.6A or higher* network cable (not included) is used to link the connection between the transmitter and the receiver unit at the maximum supported distance of 100 m (328.08 ft). The extender features wired power (POP), which requires a single power source to connect to the transmitter or receiver. The transmitter features two switchable Type-C host ports, one of which supports up to 100W power delivery, connecting an additional USB power supply from a dedicated Type-C power port. Both units feature local device ports (one Type A and two Type-A each), while the receiver has two HDMI ports supporting Ultra HD resolutions up to 4K60. Status LEDs allow the user to check the power, active host, connection between transmitter and receiver, and whether data transfer is underway. Additional RS232 and FSYNC GPIO pass-through ports allow sending of two-way commands, even for industrial cameras. Switching between the two hosts can be performed by the button on the front panel of the transmitter or set to automatic. It is also possible to control the extender using API commands.
