AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA: Renowned for exceptional quality and qualified as DOCG placing it among Italy's greatest wines, this Amarone is a full-flavoured and dry red wine with a perfect balance of tannins, alcohol, and acidity

VINIFICATION: A blend of Corvina (including Corvinone), Rondinella and Molinara grapes which are semi-dried for 120 days, macerated for 7-8 days, fermented for 4-6 weeks and matured in Slavonian oak for 2 years before further bottle ageing for 6 months

THE PROFILE: The flavour is full-bodied creating a majestic and velvety wine with great structure, fresh taste and tones of dried grape. The bouquet is broad and finely nuanced, with scents of wild berries and notes of ripe black cherry and plum

PAIRING NOTES: Best served chilled at 17-18°C, this Italian still red wine is excellent for accompanying refined dishes and very mature cheeses. It pairs exceptionally well with prime cuts of meat and is also enjoyable served on its own at the end of a meal
