Description

The term "preare" is used to refer to the ancient Veronese marble quarries, famous for the Lessinia stone and the prestigious "red Verona marble", known throughout the world and widely used in Venice and Verona for precious sculptures, churches and villas. The grapes are hand picked in late autumn then fermented at 2528 degrees on the skins for 10 days before second fermentation on the lees from Negrar Amarone for 15 days at 15 degrees. The wine is then aged in barrels for around 10 months before being bottle finished.

Since 1933, Cantina Valpolicella Negrar has told the story of men and women devoted to the crafting of quality wines: the finest, sincerest expression of a region home to more than 700 hectares of vineyards.

Vegetarian wine

Intense ruby-red colour. Nose: strong and persistent, with fruity aromas of cherry and plum paired with hints of tertiary aromas such as chocolate and dried red fruit.

Taste: it fills the palate with a balanced array of primary flavours and more developed ones. It's high acidity is offset by the tannins.

A real foody wine - drink with all red meats, boiled, grilled or braised, even pasta with black truffles.
