In 2023, it received a full remix & remaster treatment by Bruce Soord (mixing) & Steve Kitch (remastering). A blend of progressive rock with elements of Brit-pop, the album is often likened to the moody atmospherics of Radiohead or Muse. The album actually supersedes an earlier, limited "preview" release titled '12 Stories Down' (2004), comprising rawer mixes & a few exclusive tracks.
