The Smart Radiator Thermostat supports both Zigbee and Thread protocols for versatile connectivity. In Zigbee mode, it offers unique Aqara features as well as Matter compatibility when connected to an Aqara hub. Requires an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub running firmware 4.3.8 or later. In Thread mode, it enables direct integration with Matter-compatible ecosystems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, and Home Assistant. Note: A Matter controller within the ecosystem and a Thread Border Router are required. Zigbee2MQTT and comparable third-party USB dongles are not officially supported by Aqara. Full product functionality may be limited or unavailable.

The Aqara Smart Radiator Thermostat W600 can automatically turn off heating when an Aqara Door and Window Sensor detects an open door or window, or when an Aqara Motion Sensor detects no movement for an extended period. With geofencing enabled, it can start heating your home just before you arrive. You can even set up independent automation rules for multiple properties.

The Smart Radiator Thermostat W600 can receive temperature data directly from an Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor (such as the Aqara W100) placed anywhere in the room. (Requires the use of Zigbee mode via the Aqara Home App.) This enables precise whole-room temperature regulation, allowing the thermostat to respond to the actual ambient temperature rather than the localized heat near the radiator. With 0.5°C adjustment increments and temperature calibration, it offers fine-tuned control for personalized comfort.

Create custom heating schedules with up to 7 time periods per day across all 7 days of the week, supported by 5 preset modes for individual room control. Smart schedules are stored locally on the device and will continue to run even if the internet is down. This feature requires Zigbee mode via the Aqara Home app.

The thermostat delivers up to 2 years of exceptional battery life, ensuring reliable performance with minimal maintenance. Battery life of up to 2 years is based on typical use, approximately 8 months of active operation per year in Thread mode. Actual lifespan may vary depending on use.
