The Teijin Octa Airmesh fabric on the front and back has an exceptional warmth to weight ratio - for maximum insulation with minimal bulk. For added protection against windchill and light splashes, a lightweight, windproof fabric with a durable water-repellent coating (DWR, PFC-free) is used for the front panels of the vest. For a body-hugging fit with the best insulation, the PACR Bodywarmer has fleece stretch inserts on the sides of the vest, which keeps the fabric tight and therefore fits snugly but comfortable and not bulky. To keep the bulk of the vest low and optimise the fit and breathability, only a small zip pocket has been sewn in for valuables. If you keep your upper body warm and dry, you can cycle longer.
