CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES of the Next Generation of ETHIOPIA: The Rise of the GRAND MASTER of GENOCIDE (Volume II)

Chapter One examines the history of Ethiopia following the death of Menelik II. Before he passed away, Menelik expressed his desire for Ras Tessema Nadew to become the Regent for his 18-year-old grandson, Iyasu. Several historians have suggested that Iyasu was preparing to convert to Islam, which raised numerous questions and ultimately led to his removal from power. Zewditu was summoned to the capital on September 27, 1916. Haile Selassie rose to power as the Regent Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia under Empress Zewditu. He later rebelled against her, culminating in the Battle of Anchem, which he won on March 31, 1930. The Emperor drafted two Constitutions, one in 1931 and another in 1955. Both granted the Emperor absolute power, with the transition of power being based on his bloodline. Chapter Two examines the details of the 1974 Ethiopian Revolution, which led to the rise of the Derg. This regime came to power after the collapse of the imperial government. During a campaign known as the Red Terror, the Derg targeted and dismantled the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Party (EPRP). While the exact number of deaths remains uncertain, estimates suggest that between 500,000 and 700,000 Ethiopians were killed as a result of the assassination program implemented by the Derg regime. Chapter Three discusses the Ethiopian Civil War, which lasted from 1974 to 1991. Various military groups, including the Eritrean Liberation Front (later known as the EPLF), the Afar Liberation Front (ALF), the EPRP, the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF, established in 1973), the Western Somali Liberation Front (WSLF), the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), MEISON, the Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM), the Oromo People's Democratic Organization (OPDO), the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF), and others, confronted the Derg regime. Ultimately, on May 28, 1991, a coalition of armed rebel forces succeeded in overthrowing the Derg, effectively bringing an end to the Ethiopian Civil War. Chapter Four discusses the birth of the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF). In 1989, the TPLF, ANDM, OPDO, and SEPDM formed the EPRDF. Following the collapse of the Derg, a "Constitutional Commission" established by the Transitional Government of Ethiopia (TGE), led by President Meles Zenawi, drafted the 1995 Ethiopian Constitution. Chapter Five evaluates the historical trends and political failures of Ethiopian leaders. Chapter Six provides a detailed explanation of how Abiy Ahmed rose to power. Chapter Seven assesses the current state of the country, revealing that Ethiopia displays all the characteristics of a failed state. The government remains in power primarily due to extensive support from the United States and the European Union. Both the U.S. and the EU believe that a potential disintegration of Ethiopia could negatively impact their security and economy. Additionally, they aim to prevent the spread of communism in East Africa. As a result of these concerns, Western nations are significantly aiding the central government of Ethiopia to prevent its collapse. However, unity among the various ethnic groups in Ethiopia is at its most fragile point, exacerbated by the government’s poor policies and actions against its citizens.
