It combines the lightness and fit of a road helmet with the requirements of gravel biking. Whether sporty, relaxed or ambitious: the Taipan LED is a reliable companion on every ride. Safe, stable and highly visible The Acti-Cage structural reinforcement inside the helmet ensures high stability and low weight and allows for large ventilation openings. The magnetically attached LED rear light can be charged via USB-C, offers up to 35 hours of light and four light modes. IP44 certification protects against splashing water and dust. The in-mould process firmly bonds the shock-absorbing EPS inner shell to the polycarbonate outer shell for a robust and durable connection. Maximum comfort on every ride The Taipan LED has many of the features of a road bike helmet: good ventilation, low weight and sophisticated aerodynamics. One difference, however, is the wider inner shape, which creates space for thicker padding. The padding provides more comfort on bumpy gravel routes, while the Zoom Spin adjustment system allows for precise adjustment to the shape of the head. A ponytail opening is integrated for long hair – simply lower the adjustment system and pull the ponytail through. Well thought-out design for all occasions An integrated glasses holder, reflective details and a rear light make the helmet a functional companion for adventures, everyday use and commuting.
