ABUS HYP-E BL.ACE – for commuters and other cycling enthusiasts on e-bikes and bicycles For commuters who choose to cycle 365 days a year, whatever the weather, the HYP-E is the helmet that takes on the challenges of every season and makes a visible statement: its lights increase your visibility in traffic, in foggy weather and in the dark. In addition to the rear light, the HYP-E has a front light. Both lights are activated with a button on the back of the helmet. The flashing light for indicating a turn can be conveniently switched on and off using the remote control on the handlebars. The BL.ACE version also comes with a wireless brake lever cover: when you brake, the red rear light lights up. Flexible for every season In summer, large ventilation openings ensure pleasant air circulation around the head. In winter, you can easily close the ventilation openings with the VentCover. In addition, the visor and ear protectors shield you from wind and weather. Helmet for touring with e-bikes and S-pedelecs The HYP-E meets the standards of NTA 8776 – the world's first safety standard specifically for S-pedelec riders. Helmets with NTA certification are tested at significantly higher impact speeds and offer better protection in the rear and temple areas.

Also suitable for S-pedelecs: with its deep temple and neck protection, the helmet complies with NTA standard 8776, which has strict test criteria specifically for riding electric bikes at higher speeds.
