Valpolicella has been a land dedicated to the cultivation of vines since ancient times: its name "val polis cellae" means, in fact, "the valley of many cellars". The wines of the Valpolicella Ripasso Controlled Designation of Origin are produced with native varieties of the area such as Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara. From these grapes important red wines are obtained, of great originality, typicality and international fame. Ripasso della Valpolicella Superiore DOC, considered the "younger brother" of Amarone, is a unique and inimitable red wine, because it is produced with a precise winemaking technique that has a long and consolidated tradition.

Valpolicella is a splendid hilly area north of Verona, enclosed between Valdadige, Lessinia, and the Veronese plain, a stone's throw from Lake Garda, the soil is calcareous-clayey, capable of imparting freshness and elegance to the wines, the mention Classico is reserved for wines produced in the original area, the oldest one, which includes the five municipalities of Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano, Marano, and Negrar

Color and Appearance: Intense ruby red with violet hues

Bouquet: Pleasant notes of red berries, ripe cherry plums, and sweet spices with hints of vanilla and raisins

Taste: Dry, full, smooth, with an excellent structure and a delicate aftertaste of light spices and liquorice
