These stories first rattled the locals in a Tonyrefail Facebook group in early 2025, sparking hearty laughs, misty-eyed nostalgia, and the occasional call to have the author banned, cancelled, or at least made to apologise to Mrs Evans up the road. Now, carefully collected for your convenience (and so you can enjoy them without Facebook arguments), Volume 2 serves up another round of tall tales, half-truths and pure nonsense — all delivered with a hefty side of Valleys sarcasm. Some of it might be true. Most of it isn’t. Read at your own risk — and please, sprinkle generously with salt (the same salt that lives at the bottom of your chip bag on a Friday night from Ton Pizza or Lu Sang).
