A roller shutter protects your home from intense sunlight, improves insulation in cold, heat or noise and provides additional protection from insects and burglars. During installation, the top roller shutter box is connected to the window profile by means of a universal adapter and a metal connector and inserted into the wall opening. This ensures a quiet placement of the roller shutter and prevents freezing and damage to the windowsill. The roller shutter is wound in the attachment box made of high-quality plastic with integrated EPS insulation. This can be opened on the room side after installation using a inspection flap. The roller shutter box has the dimensions of a maximum of 16.5 x 22.0 cm (H x D). Inside there is a steel tube shaft with octagonal profile and a diameter of 40 mm. The roller shutter suspensions and the roller sleeve are attached to it, which are required to operate the roller shutter. The operation is available separately and can be done manually via a belt or automatically with a roller shutter motor. The roller shutter curtain is guided in two guide rails with rubber piping, which reduce the running and wind noise of the roller shutter. The elements for the box and the roller shutter can be shortened to the required dimensions if necessary.
