Though very few of his collaborations with Burton are sequels, Elfman jumped at the chance to revisit his work from the original Beetlejuice. After 36 years, it was easy for him to get into the mindset he found in 1988. Speaking to Forbes, Elfman said that getting "the chance to jump back into the same playground" with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice after all these years was "a real treat." Beetlejuice is back! Oscar-nominated, singular creative visionary Tim Burton and Oscar nominee and star Michael Keaton reunite for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the long-awaited sequel to Burton's award-winning Beetlejuice.
