Description

A sweet Italian vermouth named after Jerry Thomas, the legendary 19th century bartender who is considered by many as the father of American mixology and known to some as 'The Professor' (hence this vermouth's name). Vermouth del Professore is a collaborative effort between Frederico Ricatto, Carlos Quaglia and the Jerry Thomas Speakeasy in Rome, and has been produced using Muscat wine, an infusion of 13 spices in neutral spirit and cane sugar.

Aged in wooden barrels for several months this Vermouth is crafted from a Nebbiolo base wine. Balsamic and mentholated notes, accompany aromas of wormwood, bitter orange and spices. Soft and full on the palate, with a perfect balance between the alcohol and the sugar, interlaced with pleasantly bitter and smooth rhubarb notes.

MAIN BOTANICALS: Wormwood, Alpine mint, rhubarb, cloves, mace

It is the only vermouth in the world that is created from 100% Italian white and red wines, with 100% flavoring data from vegetables and produced internally to the company that mature for six months in small oak barrels.
