Description This IEC C14 to C13 cable, allows you to extend the commonly known 'kettle' power cable. They are common on a variety of electrical equipment but especially PCs, servers and monitors. They are also the standard output power cable used on Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) and in this case would replace the standard UK mains cable of the device they are powering rather than extend it. They can be used within rack cabinets when connecting servers to the UPS device. The 1m length is ideal in this situation - long enough to reach but not so long that you have a lot of excess cable to cable tie and make neat. The flexible moulded collar at the end of the connector protects the internal wires from any stresses or strains than might be applied to the cable whilst in use.
