The first port (HDMI 1) automatically detects whether an eARC-enabled device is connected and establishes the best possible connection. So you can easily use all popular audio formats, from simple stereo to Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, as long as your sound system supports the appropriate format. The special feature: You no longer have to manually change every time you want to switch from one device to another. When you power the AX421 via USB, it automatically detects which of your two sound devices is turned on and switches to it automatically.
