DROP STITCH TECHNOLOGY - Maximum rigidity of the hull: Both the side chambers and the bottom of the Cortez 13'9" kayak are made with Drop Stitch technology, which allows the elements to inflate to a pressure of 10 PSI without the risk of deformation. Thanks to the dense fibres that connect the inner layers of the material together, an effect of exceptional rigidity has been achieved while the structure remains light.

Three air chambers - Increased safety and stability: the kayak is equipped with three independent air chambers responsible for buoyancy and safety. The side chambers provide lateral stability, while the middle bottom chamber provides structural rigidity and better handling. Each of the chambers can be inflated separately, which in practice means that in case of a breakdown in one chamber, the others keep the kayak afloat.

V-shaped keel - confidently keep the course: the bow and rear of the kayak are equipped with V-shaped keels that improve hydrodynamics and facilitate precise maneuvering. Thanks to this shape, the kayak cuts the water with less resistance and can therefore keep a straight course more easily even in side wind gusts. The keels also act as directional stabilizers for synchronous paddling, which is particularly noticeable during longer journeys on open water.

Splash protection - comfort in all conditions: a splash guard is integrated at the bow and rear to prevent water from entering the interior during intense paddling or waves. This guard keeps the inside of the kayak drier, which increases comfort and protects the luggage from getting wet. A particularly practical solution for longer tours and unpredictable weather conditions.

High load capacity - full comfort for two people: thanks to its solid construction and technology used, the 13'9" Cortez can easily carry up to 200 kg, which means it can be comfortably used by two adults with full luggage. Even at maximum load, the kayak retains sufficient rigidity and stability, does not deform and allows efficient manoeuvring - both on calm lakes and in light unevenness.
