This book was written by the original author, Liu Bingda. While studying the foundational theories of number theory, the author sought to solve some of the greatest unsolved problems in number theory that remain challenging to humanity today. Starting from independent thinking and a humble pursuit of knowledge, the author began engaging with number theory conjectures since the fourth grade, when, before Hong Kong's return to China in 1997, a substitute math teacher named Mr. Ju introduced him to the Goldbach Conjecture—a famous conjecture in number theory.Since then, through middle school, high school, and university, the author continued his dedicated studies. He was fortunate to learn from thoughtful and inspiring math teachers across different grade levels. After 27 years of exploration and research, he finally completed this new academic monograph focused on accurate and comprehensive proof processes and algorithmic analyses related to the five major conjectures in number theory.The conjectures discussed in this book include:The Goldbach Conjecture.The Twin Prime Conjecture.The Collatz (3n+1) Conjecture.The Riemann Hypothesis.The New Mersenne Prime Conjecture.This Part, titled Proof Processes and Algorithmic Analyses of the Five Great Conjectures in Number Theory (Part1), introduces only the fundamental theoretical knowledge of number theory and provides a complete and precise explanation of the proof process and algorithmic analysis for the Goldbach Conjecture. It is especially suitable for elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as college students, to use for study and reference.The proofs and algorithmic analyses for the remaining conjectures have been organized by the author into the subsequent parts—Part 2 and Part 3,Part4 and Part5. Due to the lengthy nature of the content, further editorial review by publishing professionals, and the support and encouragement from readers like you, these additional parts will be published soon in separate volumes.
