LINDY 38509 50m Cat.6 HDMI and IR Extender with PoC and Loop Output

The Lindy 50m Cat.6 HDMI® and IR Extender is an easy-to-use solution that allows the user to extend HDMI® signals up to 50 meters using a single, low-cost Cat.6 or higher cable (not included). For convenience, IR signals (20-60 kHz) can also be extended using the supplied IR receiver and emitter cables. With support for resolutions up to 1920x1200@60Hz, FullHD video content can be viewed at distances up to 50 meters, which is perfect for use in a variety of AV and digital signage applications in a variety of environments, including residential, educational, commercial, retail, and healthcare setups. This extender features an HDMI® loop output port on the transmitter for simultaneous local viewing so that a local display can be connected for monitoring or to create an additional viewing area. Wired Power (PoC) functionality allows the extender to operate from a single power source connected to the transmitter, allowing the receiver to be located where there is limited access to main outlets, making it ideal for minimalist, discreet installations. Additionally, the slim design of the units with built-in mounting brackets allows for easy installation in limited spaces behind flat panel monitors or TVs. Note: The lengths and resolutions listed are possible with a direct connection between the transmitter and receiver using a good quality Cat.6 or higher solid core cable. Using a different cable type or installing wall plates, couplers or patch panels will reduce the possible distances.
