The remainder of the sections throughout this book show you the colourful world of stress, the awareness of different perspectives, getting you to think differently, to show you tools and tips to balance your life, as well as the colourful and fun ideas, resources, therapeutic techniques, simple science and worksheets all to help you to learn how to create a sense of safety (nervous system) for yourself internally and externally with both your mind and body so that it can help you to work through your stressors, how you can respond to your good, bad and ugly stress and perceived dangers/threats/fears by increasing your arousal state (window of tolerance). To build up your adult self and re-parent your inner child / younger selves, techniques and tools to improve your health and well being and manage your life and stressors and know that will be able to cope when problems arise and communicate within your relationships and know when to give yourself time out for self-care, rest and quality sleep and also be able to ask for help. Because as Matthew Hussey says: “Loving yourself today is your job. You were given a human: YOU”. Remember: That only YOU can do this. Others can assist you. However, only YOU can change things for YOU. This book is also useful for you if you are a therapist, counsellor, mental health practitioner, energy healer, GP, etc because it will give you a baseline to become curious of alternative ways that you can help your patients/clients with their mind and body connection and their stress levels.
