Sefer Shoshan Yesod HaOlam is one of the rarest and most enigmatic mystical manuals to survive the early modern period. Attributed to the 17th-century kabbalist Rabbi Yosef Tirshom, this work blends practical Kabbalah, angelology, invocations, sigils, and esoteric teachings in a highly structured and arcane style. It is written primarily in Hebrew, with important passages and formulae preserved in Aramaic, reflecting older traditions and the influence of earlier schools of Kabbalah, such as those from Safed and Ashkenaz.
