User & Master Code Setup: Open the battery compartment and insert 4 AA batteries. Press 159, then press C or E to confirm (safe comes with a preset password of 159.) To Reset Code Press the reset button, wait for beeps and the yellow light, Enter a new 3-8 digit code, Press C or E to confirm; beeps will signal success. To Master code set, Open the safe and press 0 twice, Enter a 3-8 digit master code when beeps and yellow light activate, Press C or E to confirm; beeps will indicate success.

Auto Locking Mode: After 3 input errors, the alarm will sound for 20 seconds, the keypad will be disabled during the beeping. The beeping can only be stopped by opening the safe with the emergency key. It comes with an emergency key that helps you in emergency. If the electronics fail, you forget or misplace code or opening safe for first time, use emergency key to unlock the safe.
