Beating the Financial Futures Market : The 2025 Almanac is the fifth spinoff from the original 2006 Beating the Financial Futures Market book. As with the 2017, 2020, 2021 and 2023 editions, the 2025 almanac is comprised of stand-alone information not found in the other works. It contains 27 mechanical trading systems. Each was applied to the mini S&P, Dow, Nasdaq, Russell and Midcap using the same rules. From 2015 through 2024, all systems had positive outcomes in all the markets. Enclosed tables show net profits, number of trades, average profit per trade, percent profitable, worst drawdown and return on account. I disclose exactly how to set up the system in plain English and provide the full Trade Station strategy code. I’m a believer in full transparency. Anyone could re-duplicate my results, which, as always, I encourage. In addition, I include several dozen essays on market truisms, theories, and personal anecdotes from my 40-year+ history as a professional trader, Chicago Board of Trade member, lecturer and writer.
