Another lovely fabric in stock at Minerva, this Activewear is ideal for dressmaking. Our Nylon and Spandex blend Lycra Fabric is an. All way stretch, i.e. it stretches length ways, width ways and on the bias (on the diagonal). Because of its unique stretch properties, this fabric is suitable for swimsuits, biking shorts, leotards and dance and stage wear.. practic. Ally any sewing pattern that requires an. All way stretch fabric. It is a good choice for active wear and anything that needs freedom of movement. It is shiny on one side and matt on the reverse and is available in a range of bright and muted shades. Sewing Tip: If your sewing machine does not have a triple stretch stitch, we recommend using a stretch sewing thread such as Mettler Seraflock for a true stretch stitch your stitches will stretch with the fabric! . All fabric is cut from the roll and available to order by the metre. The fabric will be cut as one continuous piece no matter how many metres you order. Key Features

Activewear fabrics are stretchy with excellent recovery, retaining shape after use. Made from sweat-wicking synthetic fibers, they keep you dry and breathable during workouts. They resist creasing, are durable, and provide comfort for movement. While ideal for exercise, they also make stylish, sporty everyday garments.

This is a lovely medium weight fabric ideal for dressmaking. This fabric is available in a great variety of colours and weighs approximately 208 grams per square metre.

Suggested Washing Instructions: 40 degrees. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics.

Approx Width: 150cm / 60" - Our fabrics are cut off the roll and will always be sent in one continuous length. If for any reason we cannot send your fabric in one piece we will contact you to discuss the options.

For all fabrics we advise washing before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods) to remove any shrinkage
