The Elder Ones work their influences on mortal minds in many ways.

No one is really sure who is held under their sway. Is someone trying to stop them or support them? It’s impossible to tell and yet, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Secret Alignment - At the start of the game, players are secretly divided into Cultists, Investigators, and the new Dissidents.

Each one wins the game via different conditions and must work their tactics in secret, lest their identity is found out.

Build Your Deck - Deckbuilding is the major mechanic in the game. Players must try and collect cards that help their cause while keeping good cards out of their opponent’s hands.
