Description

We believe these are the best quality disc rotors on the market. Deda’s premium rotors offer maximum strength, efficiency and heat resistance. No need for replacements because of wear, these will last and last while offering you the best possible braking no matter the conditions. Extensive testing was conducted for these premium rotors. FEM analysis (Finite Element method) was used to create the most efficiently shaped rotor which in terms, minimises weight and ensures maximum braking performance. The road tests took place for over a year with professional riders in all weather conditions, passing all of them with ease. The most extreme laboratory test saw the rotor pass 500 degrees in temperature before any signs of deformation were noted Unbeatable heat dissipation The aluminium spider acts as a heat sink. The braking track can expand as a result of the temperature increase due to the braking action, preventing excessive and permanent deformation. Superior braking power The slight movement of the floating discs optimises contact with the brake pads. This reduces pad and disc overheating and a significantly improved braking efficiency than others on the market Technical Specifications Rotor: Rounded edge design, 5 floating rivets with conical spring washers Material: 2-piece construction, stainless steel outer disc (Japan SUS-410), 7075 aluminium spider Thickness: 1.8mm (max. wear limit 1.6mm) Hub Compatibility: Shimano Centre lock Sizes: 140mm and 160mm Recommended use: Road/ Gravel Weight: 110g (140mm), 130g (160mm) Note: Recommended for use with organic brake pads
