April (Thriller)

It's the month of rebirth, but for Megan Ellis, April brings only dread. After years of running from her past, she has finally settled into a quiet life in a small town in the Pacific Northwest, trying to forget the unspeakable crime that changed her forever. But when a chilling letter arrives on her doorstep-its contents written in blood-red ink-her fragile peace shatters. The letter is simple: "I know what you did. And I'm coming for you." The letter isn't just a threat-it's a reminder. A reminder of the horrific crime she was involved in five years ago, a crime she thought she could escape. Megan and her childhood friend, April, were the only survivors of a deadly encounter with a serial killer who had terrorized the region for years. But the truth about what really happened that night has never been fully revealed, and now someone is determined to expose the secrets they've buried. As strange and ominous events begin to unfold, Megan becomes convinced that the killer never truly died-and that April's death wasn't an accident. Someone, somehow, is orchestrating a twisted game, and Megan is its next target. With the clock ticking down, she must confront her past and unravel a mystery that has haunted her for years, all while a shadowy figure stalks her every move. But as she digs deeper, Megan discovers something far more terrifying: the killer isn't just after revenge. They're after something much more personal. They want her to confront the truth about that fateful night in April-the truth she has spent years running from.
