The series is dedicated to the Soviet and Russian Navy from 1945 to the present and describes all ship designs implemented in metal during this time, including unfinished ships. The books contain information on the design and construction features of ships, data on the construction and decommissioning of individual units, and information on armament. The articles are accompanied by a large number of drawings and photos. The second volume is dedicated to Soviet / Russian principal surface combatants: aircraft carrying ships, battleships, cruisers, destroyers and guard ships.
