Its use will be mandatory in Spain starting January 1, 2026, replacing the current warning triangles. The warning light with an integrated SIM card anonymously transfers data to the DGT 3.0 platform, signaling the vehicle’s position without the need for the driver to get out of the vehicle. The connection with the DGT 3.0 platform, enables real-time localization and transmits immediately crucial information about a potentially dangerous situation in road traffic to other drivers’ navigators and to nearby variable public information panels.
