Description

The LEKI FX.CARBON SL Compact is the newest adjustable pole in the SKYTERA collection. Designed for hikers and mountaineers tackling tough and demanding terrain, the SKYTERA offers the flexibility of an adjustable length pole. Constructed from lightweight carbon fiber, each pole weighs only 6 ounces. Features a 14mm top section and 12mm bottom sections. The SKYTERA folds into three sections, each less than 16 inches long, making it easy to stash in your backpack when your hands need to be free to climb or use ice tools. This pole also features the new minimalist vertical grip made of 1K foam, providing ergonomic performance in a low profile package. The Verticon grip is tilted at 8° to position the wrist in a more natural and comfortable way. In addition, there is a fluted foam extension under the grip, which offers ample space to hold the shaft when navigating rolling terrain. The SKYTERA is infinitely adjustable between 100 and 120 cm, allowing users to shorten the pole for steep climbs, which helps relieve pressure on the legs. In contrast, extending the downhill post provides additional safety and support by increasing ground contact points from two to four. Where the landscape meets the sky, you will find the SKYTERA.

ADJUSTABLE & FOLDABLE - A shorter, adjustable length from 100 to 120 cm is held secure with LEKI's Speed Lock Plus lever, and each pole folds into four segments for a compact packing capacity of only 15.4 inches.

Trail-ready features: ergonomic Verticon grip with foam extension and grip lines. The locking safety strap is adjustable and easy to use. Micro stem and short flex tip designed for summer alpine trails. Baskets can be swapped out for snow baskets (sold separately) without the need for tools.
