Majosta Green Hand Sanitiser with Aloe Vera and Lemon

In recent years, the significance of hand hygiene has received increased emphasis, particularly following global health crises. Hand sanitisers have become a crucial element in daily routines for the prevention of infectious disease transmission. Although alcohol-based sanitisers are commonly utilised for their swift antimicrobial properties, they frequently lead to skin dryness, irritation, and apprehensions regarding the ecological consequences of their chemical compositions. Consequently, there is an increasing demand for natural, dermally compatible alternatives that are both efficacious and sustainable. Aloe Vera and lemon are two naturally occurring substances with established health advantages. Aloe Vera is esteemed for its calming, moisturising, and anti-inflammatory attributes, rendering it suitable for dermatological uses. The abundant array of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes facilitates skin repair and moisture retention, serving as a mild foundation for hand sanitiser formulations. Conversely, lemon, rich in citric acid and vitamin C, provides inherent antimicrobial, antiseptic, and antioxidant attributes. Its capacity to eliminate pathogens while providing a refreshing fragrance renders it an exceptional addition to Aloe Vera in hand sanitiser formulations.The aim of this study is to formulate a natural hand sanitiser utilising Aloe Vera and lemon, integrating the hydrating properties of Aloe Vera with the antimicrobial efficacy of lemon. The objective is to develop a sanitiser utilising these natural ingredients that is effective against pathogens, safe for frequent use, and environmentally sustainable. This project assesses the antimicrobial effectiveness of the developed hand sanitiser, offering an alternative for individuals seeking natural and sustainable personal hygiene products.
