Majosta Physics of Spacetime Volume I Tensors (Physics of Spacetime - Complete Collection)

This book presents a unification theory of gravitational, electromagnetic, and quantum phenomena. To that end, the content is divided into three volumes. The first volume (Chapters 1 and 2) explores tensor algebra and tensor calculus in depth. The second volume (Chapters 3 and 4) thoroughly covers both Special Relativity and General Relativity. In the third volume, the unification theory is fully developed. This structure provides a natural and direct progression, guiding the reader from the necessary mathematical foundations to the physical models. Illustrations play a key role throughout the book, particularly in sections of greater complexity or where visual support is most helpful. This book represents the author's experience, his journey in exploring the subject, and the discoveries he wishes to share with all potential readers. This voyage encompasses aspects that are often omitted in similar treatises, which tend to focus on certain specific areas. The author believes that there are essential aspects to explore that contribute to a correct understanding of the subject, aspects which, surprisingly, shed light on new frontiers. Additionally, the book begins with the fundamental concepts of algebra and calculus to build the theory upon them. Those who are new to the field will find this aspect particularly helpful, as it serves as a vehicle that will lead them comfortably to deeper concepts. For example, bilinear maps are introduced first as a simplified way to understand the concept of a tensor before delving into multilinear maps. For the same reason, the book presents demonstrations that cover all the steps, unlike the typical cases found in scientific literature, where crucial steps are often omitted. This omission can prevent readers from following the proof and assessing its accuracy, or it may require them to spend considerable time rediscovering the missing steps, leaving them unsure whether those were the intended steps that the author omitted. Science must not be a secret; it is not a compendium of magic spells known only to the initiated. On the contrary, every aspect of science must be crystal clear, casting no doubt, sparing no time, and shared as human knowledge should be.
