Allows you to test whether all the contactors of a DDR3 DIMM, DDR4 DIMM or DDR5 RDIMM or UDIMM type are in good condition and active. Instant visual test with LED diode tray.

The plate has four ports: one DIMM type DDR 3 port / one DIMM type DDR 4 port / one for DDR 5 type RDIMM / one port for DDR 5 type UDIMM.

For its operation, the tester needs to be powered, you can do this either from a USB power supply (cord supplied) or by inserting a CR2032 battery into the slot provided for this purpose. A switch allows you to select the type of power you choose.

Once a strip is inserted, you should not notice any anomaly, all the diodes must illuminate in the same way. A flashing diode indicates false contact, an off diode indicates an open circuit, A highlighted diode will signal a short circuit.

No special skills are required, just look at the diodes!.

Note that this tester will not test for possible errors in RAM, but just the quality of its contacts.
